Don't have a lot of time this week, and I mean it this time lol. Sorry. my message will be short!
Crazy week full of lots of teaching! For the first time ever I taught enough lessons to reach the missions standard of excellence, so that was sick!
A lot of progress from investigators? Nah, but at least we are teaching.

I sent a lot of pictures though so that can describe my week to y'all.  It's getting hot and I hate it!
Pacers losing 3-1 to Heat.
That's all that. lol.

Working hard and waiting for people to progress. Sorry this message is so lame and pointless, enjoy the pictures. (unless you're a missionary, because I send the pics to my sister so they are on FB....)

Hasta la proxima!

Weeeeeeekly Update.... Longest week in a LOOOOONG time. The weeks usually fly but this one was seriously hitting a brick wall. SO MUCH STUFF HAPPENED. I wish I could recap it well but it'll probably suck. Let me start with some announcements:'
-I learned how to solve a Rubik's Cube this week! 5/18/2014 will go down in history as the day I learned! It was pretty dang exciting to finally learn. Thanks Elder Mancilla for teaching me :D
-Pacers mop the floor with the Heat in Game 1 of the Eastern Finals. Lets go Indiana! ha.
-We are going to the Indianapolis Zoo today! It costs a fortune and I freaking hate animals but okay lol.
-Last week when I was at the Library, the guy next to me was in a yelling match with the security woman so I got to be on a police report as a witness. Getting the churches name out there one way or another.
-I officially have forgotten half of my English vocabulary. The word ATTEND is now permanently changed to ASSIST and the word ADDRESS is now forever DIRECTION. All the other words just left.... Se fueron... ):
Thanks Spanish!

Alright, so what down this week in the dirty White River? (that's my area's name... well White River is at least.)

So all the craziness starts off with a SEEMINGLY NORMAL Preparation Day. We do all the normal stuff and are just preparation day-ing it up. Elder Cozzens while playing volleyball does SOMETHING weird to his ankle and it inflates to the size of a baseball and eventually makes it to a bucket of ice and now it's just nasty and purple. That was foreshadowing for the big stuff though. Monday night we were at the Hernandez house and we get a phone call that an Elder is sick.... so we head over to the Hospital to visit him. It was another Spanish Elder, Elder Paxman. They tell us he will probably be out in two days so we will just be with his companion, Elder Rowberry in a trio for a few days and Paxman would stay in the hospital.
The next day is made 20x crazier because we had exchanges so I was with Elder Latu and Rowberry for the day. We pretty much just visited Paxman in the hospital and hung out with him there and then went up to Fishers to teach an English class. We met the siiiiiickest people from Spain. I seriously want to be there best friends. I love how they talk, it's hilarious, haha.

Wednesday we stayed in our trio of madness and not much happened though. Lots of moving around to different places to get stuff and all that madness. We did go to get some Mexican food and one of the items was called the Shakira. Tempting...
We did go by Luis Rios and do a little service and have dinner with him, so that was cool.

Thursday was Zone Conference. We found out there that Paxman would not be coming back.... he was going home. So instead of keeping our Trio, Rowberry got sent off to Carmel to make a trio with some elders over there. After conference we had dinner with the Coffins and we got to all say bye to Paxman. Pretty sad ):
We then shared a message with the Coffin family and it was super spiritual and nice. What they needed. We then shared the same message with the Lara family because la hermana is really struggling with here pregnancy. We then went by Margarita y Alejandro and we started teaching their 9 year old son Brian who is now set to be baptized June 7th! :)

Friday was absolutely insane and it's too much to write about, I'd get all stressed out by it. It was a really successful day though, which is why so much happened. Haha. Went with Pres. Coffin to the pizza shop he is going to open and practiced (failed) at making pizzas. We then went and visited a member in the hospital who just had surgery. Had dinner with the Alonso family and then had a crazy long night in Cumberland.... Haha. That's that.

Saturday morning we had correlation with the Branch Mission Leader and afterwards we taught Brian again. He did his reading assignment and really understood it all, he is such a stud! We are gonna teach him every other day most likely so we will be seeing him tonight. It's so cool because through him, we are getting the whole family back into activity! We then found a new investigator named Jose like every other Mexican, but Jose was different. And like DIFFERENT. hahah. He was telling us that he has tried every drug known to man EXCEPT heroine, because he is scared of needles. lol. And he didn't have the money to go to nursing school either to learn how to use needles. So yeah. lol. We also taught a potential named Catalina. She's Adventist and pretty set there, so we will see. Ended the night with Roman y Mercedes eating pizza with Valentina (of course) and watching The Testaments! It was great. :)

Sunday was Sunday. Brian was at church with the whole family and we had dinner with Maria after church. The usual sunday. :D

LOVE YOU ALL
:)

Let's start off with this.....
So yesterday was Mother's Day as we all know so I got to Skype the family! It was super awesome and I loved it and my sister was telling me that she will have the baby this Saturday coming up if she doesn't have it before that and turns out, she had the baby at 3 AM! So I have another nephew! Craziness!
Also, shout out to my PACERS (lol), up 3-1 over the Wizards in the Playoffs! LETS GO PACERS!
Oh, and of course to my Giants with the best record in baseball. #swaggy

Last Monday was Cinco De Mayo so as you already KNOW I partied it up like a boss and did a few keg stands and it was just legit. Nah I actually just went to the Coffins house and then Roman y Mercedes and ate chorizo and loved life. So basically the same thing.

Tuesday I don't really remember it. I know we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch and it was absolutely delicious and that we also went to the Coffins again to say goodbye to them (well, my old companion wanted to say goodbye to them.)

WEDNESDAY ---> TRANSFERS.
So like y'all probably already know, I stayed in my area. My new companion is:
Elder Mancilla. Born in Mexico but grew up in the states. He's 20. He has been out 19 months (OLD MAN!). Already spoke Spanish. He just got made district leader here. Yup.
After transfer meeting we went and visited Hna. Mendez and then taught Maira with Maria De Los Angeles. Maira seems to really have good desires to learn and get her answer, I just don't know how motivated to do what she needs in order to get it!

We also taught Hna. Garfias this week. She currently is on a break from the church because she was having some difficulties and so she is currently attending the Catholic church again. So we just go each week to read with her in the Book of Mormon because she still knows the truth of everything she says, just needs a break. So we are just doing our best to still be there for her when she is ready to return to activity!

Friday night we ate with Roman y Mercedes and afterwards they came with us to Margarita and Alejandro who are currently less active but still have desires to be active, they just have had some hard times with people that have kept them a little at bay. But at the end of the lesson she told us she would love for us to teach her 9 year old son and get him baptized so YAY, will start with that this week!

Saturday was the branch party for Dia de Las Madres and let me just say that it ended with me being the only one still on the dance floor and receiving a round of applause. Hahaha.

That's the week, nothing to exciting!
Love you all! Talk to you soon! Send me emails friends :D

To start off, GO PACERS! Barely holding off those Hawks! Good stuff.
Also, as I am now half-Mexican I would like to throw out a HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO to all of you.

Well, got transfer calls last night and I will (HAPPILY) be staying here another transfer. I am so thankful to get 6 more weeks with the people here. Definitely feel like I have a LOT more work to do here in this area.

This week in a nutshell (how big the shell is we will soon see.....)
On Monday we didn't really get our PDay because we went to the temple two weeks ago so we were just kinda out working but we did go by Target and I got the AMAZING invention called WATERMELON OREOS. They were absolutely delicious. We then had dinner with Hna. Mendez and it was delightful. We then FINALLY found Jesus who is a Recent Convert that we haven't been able to contact my entired time here. Turns out he has been in KENTUCKY, so all is well then.

Tuesday we were able to go share a message with Jesus and also find two new investigators: Maira and Pedro. They are separate, as in they don't live together or anything, just two separate finding instances. They both have good potential! We then balled out at the church for Mutual! We also found this absolutely CRAZY man while we were contacting. Who even KNOWS what he was ranting about and for some reason he hated me and loved Elder Thurston, probably because this crazy man spoke English and so Elder Thurston just pretended he didn't speak English so he didn't have to talk to him. The guy was so scary....

Wednesday we taught Giberto, and I have no idea who that is actually. I have his name in my planner but I really cannot remember who he is. So hopefully he goes well in coming weeks.... Hahaha. WAIT NO I REMEMBER. We dropped him already because he was like....... different.... Like he wouldn't stop hitting himself and other stuff. So yeah, Giberto. We had dinner with the Hernandez family from the branch and I ate so much dang tacos there haha. It was a delight.

Thursday we taught Maira again with President Coffin and it turns out they used to work together so that was cool. Maira didn't come to church though because she had a soccer game on Sunday but she says she will be there next time... :D That night we had a lesson with the Alonso family with Luisa/Hecyeni/Tracy. Sister Alonso and I taught Tracy/Hecyeni while Thurston/Hno Alonso taught Luisa and it was great! I had never taught kids before (they are both 9) but it went so well and I feel that they really understood it! When talking about resurrected perfect bodies, Tracy asks us "So if someone cuts your arm off in heaven does it just grow right back?" LOL. And then I asked her later "Do you like Boots or Dora better?" and she says "BOOTS. I HATE Dora." Oh.....

The weekend was a lot of NOTHING.

So that's my week, I hope you are all doing awesome! Take care!
